I think backing Standard is a smart move on this fixture.
They showed they can handle Olympiakos, they cetainly where the better team in Greece.
Olympiakos where playing like crap, 2 very lucky and ugly goals.
Standard still misses Defour who's a keyplayer, but it's already 2 months they have to handle without him.
Standard home at full house is better than Olympiakos, and it's a matter of surviving in europe this game.

Yes it's true but it's not sure yet if Mbokani can play, so let's wait a moment for more news.

Olympiacos with a few absences and players not at 100%.
Zairi,Diogo,Leonardo are out.Derbyshire is longterm injury.Lendesma trained yesterday after 10 days i think,Maresca is expected to train today and Torosidis is doubtful.Nothing has changed for Olympiacos from last game against Standard. He keeps not playing well but getting the job done somehow.

Where do you get that news ?
He didn't play against Moeskroen just to rest for this game...

You where right Elrio, Mbokani was doubtfull.
But talking with some standard-fans they seem to be sure he's getting ready for the game.
Dalmat and De Camargo are doubtful as well.
However this doesn't decrease my confidence to back Standard.

I think will be a hard match but at the end Standar will be winner. Oly seems to be a weak team last games. Oly won last matches only with luck. Home win with full stakes

Oly are just a 'home team'! They are a completely different side away! Just look at how they were outplayed by a 'small' club like Metalist Kharkiv in last season's version of the UEFA Cup! Standard's display in Europe at home and backed up by a terrific home crowd will be enough to convince me to back Standard which I will do pretty early just in case the odds drop!

I utterly think you all have not a full picture of Olympiakos. As for Standard, I would not jump on that wagon that quick.
1. Standard got a late goal from Olympiakos in their games two weeks ago, which was an unlucky moment. But then again, being banged around in the last 20 minutes, allowing so many players to be hanging around in the area, creating scoring chances can't be flattering.
2. Standard has many doubts for tomorrow's game. Image not clear, at least for me, unless we make sure Mbokani, De Camargo and Dalmat will start. Standard Liege vs Olympiakos was a whole different team with Dalmat in before he got replaced.
3. Standard has not produced what they can so far this season and despite some given quality, their results are not that good. I've watched the Mouscron game just to follow on their gameplay and form and they were just awful. Of course, I won't be making a great deal about it, but it's another thing against them.
4. Olympiakos is in winning mode. Team feels so good, they managed a win in the weekend with 8-10 important players missing.
5. Of course, many absenced mean lower level of fitness and many more problems and Olympiakos, as Standard is still a big questionmark before that game.

Dalmat was looking spectacular with his "rushes" but 9/10 he just lost the ball. He is one of the guys that won't make it in Europe and is not Champions level (yet)
De Camargo, Bolat and Mbokani will be fit. Dalmat not

Fully agree with Xalaras and Loko and I also have to add that this is a totally different game. Olympiakos will play defensively , reports say 5-4-1 and will loo for counters. Standard defence looked shaky in first match. Also Bokani and Jovanovic seemed to playing alone against Olympiakos, really great players. With that kind of play Bokani and Jovanovic won't have the spaces that they had in Piraeus. Seems like possible draw but I will wait.

belgian defence and defensive midfielders are a pure joke, this is my only doubt for not backing belgians with maximum stakes...i will wait for the line-ups and if i see zico's starting eleven without lendema, and maresca with dudu the 2 dm's against mbokani jovanovic and de camargo then i play home win with a lot of confidence...

so, embarassing elimination from the Greek Cup (1-3 vs. second division team) doesnt count?

i think we could expect a draw here...everything is settled in this group,Arsenal and Olympiakos going through. As tomorrow Az will probably lose,Olympiakos can go to Liege and play a calm game and for a draw...

Of course it does count, however current Cup format allows that kinds of eliminations and the team of Olympiakos in that game, were totally off their game. Call it as it may, team is a side that can deliver when the ball is hot. And in Greece, their only opponent is Panathinaikos. But next game is not vs Panathinaikos or Panserraikos, it is a european game in Belgium and it is a different story. Team got 2 wins at home, while they gave it a good defensive fight vs Arsenal at Emirates. They like it when playing at home of course, game vs Standard was very interesting. Team had a great last 20 mins and got a late goal win. Of course, Standard's quality is indisputable, but I don't know how big is their faith in it. I mean, the 5pt gap is a huge psychological deficit here to know that a win will get you 2 pts below and a draw 5 pts below Olympiakos, which means goodbye top2 places. They have many things to overcome, the standings, the way they lost in Athens, that big lost chance if you may and they have to deal with their inside issues, with big pressure on Jovanovic, with many doubts in front of their game etc. Coach has some real work to do here... Olympiakos is in the comfort area and will play the waiting game, trying to hit on counters. Galletti seems improved which is a very big deal for them with all these injuries. I wonder how Standard can perform against concentrated defence and good defensive sides...

Most probable line-up of Olympiakos:
-----------------Mitroglou------------------
--Oscar---------------------------Galletti---
---------Maresca--------Dudu--------------
----------------Ledesma-------------------
Bravo---A.Papadopoulos-Mellberg--Zewlakov
----------------Nikopolidis-----------------

Mate, agree about propable Oly tactics for tomorrows match and even considering greek teams expect Pana not performing well in european clashes especially away from home, I have to admit, the fact they got "only" 2 goals in Emirates against Arsenal speaks for itself...after seeing Olys' match two weeks ago, which was a narrow winner in last second, I think we will see again a evenly balanced encounter, probably a low-scoring Draw, I am really tempted to play Under 2,25 goals @ 1,97 Pinnacle with medium stakes
