USA just missed a penalty... Naives or not, the American progressed lately at every level!

But after some minutes, Italy scored for 1-0! )

It was psychological...

And Argentina 1-0 Colombia...

Well done, Litost!

hehe, litost, you know that the Romanians and the Italians are brothers and biggest relatives and in football we use the same tactics... i have done my homework! we are the biggest cheaters alive...

but the Americans are unlucky too, they missed a penalty at 0-0, now at 0-1 in 2nd half they had post...

1-1 now... USA scored! and missing a lot now...

The juniors are kinda a lottery, but you must bet the team who always have good juniors like Turkey is for example today.

Turkey comes from a group with weak teams, but won it and trust me I know, the Turkish have nice teams of juniors.

So from my point of view, the only safest bet is:

Pick: Turkey U 17 to qualify @ 1.40 9/10
Pick: Turkey U 17 to win @ 1.60 6/10

The best way is to take only the 1st one! Good luck!
2-0 Turkey FT

Italy 2-1

Colombia 3-2 after 1-2

Litost was unlucky, because good picks.

Nigeria U17 - New Zealand U17

U17 World Cup

Odds: 2.19
Stake: 8 / 10
Pick: New Zealand U17 (+1,75)

New Zealand secured a passage to next round with a wonder goal in 91st minute against Turkey. New Zealand no will play with no stress and that could be important factor in this game. Nigeria by no means are the favourites in this game, they are the hosts of this tournament and so far produced OK results. Kiwis have decent defence and if they manage to hold on for first 25 minutes, much could happen in this game. I think Nigeria will win this game, but it could only by 1 goal and handicap (-1,75) is too big.

I already took one bet against Spain and unfortunately I lost that bet. I underrated this team a lot. They were playing with second-choice against Burkina Faso and I was expecting an equal game. Of course you can‘t compare Gambia and Burkina Faso, but still I think Spain will overcome the given handicap. Spain is always playing good in these kinds of championships and this team is no exception. They defeated all the opponents in their group and should continue their path to success.

You forget to say NZ secured passage to next round after a really poor match, where qualified Turkey passing the ball back in the last 20 min.! Boys from NZ get good will, I'm sure, but football is not their sport! They have really poor basic skills and are very slow. Nigerians get 3 players going at double speed at least.
If things go as must go Nigeria will win with 3 or 4 goals margin!

Really can‘t understand these odds. Switzerland couldn‘t be in a better form, they already beat the likes of Mexico, Germany, Brasil, Japan. They beat one of the strongest teams from every continent. Today they face Italy; they played against them already in European championship and that game ended 3:1 in favor of Swiss. Italy also is in good form, but Swiss players looked better for me. Asian handicap protects your money if game ends in a draw.

I agree, Swiss are one of the best teams in this championship, they managed to win over Brasil, they eliminated Germans with player less in extra time (scored twice in ET!) and were playing better than Italians from what I have seen.

Great value here!

Judging with the qualification from their group stages and the quality of players, I think Spain is the favourite team for the top. Spain so far hadn’t slip-ups and is winning games in high numbers. Uruguay is not that impressive, yes they knocked-out Asian champions Iran, but Iran can’t be compared to Spain. I hope it will be a great match, with excellent football from both sides. Over 2, 5 and Spain handicap are my choices

I underestimated Nigeria in last 16, they were playing against New Zealand. At first I thought that home soil will be a disadvantage for Nigeria. But home crowd was cheering young boys and they were really Super Eagles. Korea has a good team, the fact that they managed to go all the way to the quarter-final tells a lot. But the Nigerian side are equally pacy but with better attributes of skills and strategies. If this game would go in neutral venue I would have second thought, but today Nigeria are most likely winners.

World football governing body FIFA on Tuesday announced the suspension of six players from Thursday's semifinals of the Nigeria 2009 U-17 World Cup.

The matches, billed for the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos, have Switzerland facing Colombia and host Nigeria meeting Spain.

According to the FIFA communications and public affairs division in Abuja, which released the news of the suspension, no Nigerian player is affected in the suspension.

Colombia's Fabian Castillo and Daniel Catano will miss the Switzerland match after collecting a yellow card each in Sunday's penalty shoot out winning over Turkey in Bauchi.

Castillo, who had played four matches so far with a goal to his credit, got his fourth yellow card in the competition with Sunday's booking.

The South Americans, with 14 yellow cards, recorded the highest bookings so far in the competition.

Castilo was booked against The Netherlands and Iran in the first round in Calabar, and went on to miss the final group game against The Gambia before bagging his third yellow card in the second round against Argentina.

Catano, who is equally facing suspension, earned two consecutive yellow cards in both the second round match against Argentina and the quarterfinal match against Turkey in spite of coming in as a substitute in both games.

Their semifinal opponents are having central defender Frederic Veseli and Pajtim Kasami suspended.

Veseli was sent off and Kasami booked against Italy on Sunday in their 2-1 win at the Gateway International Stadium in Ijebu-Ode.

Veseli, who had played his team's five matches so far, was only booked once earlier, against Mexico, while Kasami also bagged only one yellow card earlier against Japan.

Spain, who was runners-up at the last edition of the competition in South Korea two years ago, will miss Marc Muniesa and Eduardo Ramos.

Muniesa was sent off against Uruguay on Monday at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna during their quarterfinal win his first card in four appearances.

Ramos, on his part, was booked in the 76th minute against Uruguay, his second in four matches after being booked against the U.S. in the first round.

Only one Nigerian player, Stanley Okoro, has been booked so far in the competition since it began on Oct. 24.

Colombia looks like the luckiest team in this year’s U17 championship. Last-gasp goals against Argentina and Turkey guaranteed them place in next round. Against Turkey it was their last shot on goal, which led to a goal. Switzerland are one of the surprises of the tournament, they are one of favourites to win this tournament. They have their key defender F.Veseli missing due to red card. Colombia has suspended Fabian Castillo and Daniel Catano. Colombia played extra time in their quarter final against Turkey, so fatigue could affect them in this game. I think Switzerland will continue their impressive form.

Two undefeated teams in this tournament clash their horns today. Nigeria after relatively slow start is approaching semi-final in brilliant form. In quarter final they defeated Korea 3:1 and before that they trashed 5:0 New Zealand. Spain fought hard in quarter final against South American compatriots Uruguay. They blew two goal lead in final 15 minutes and they has to play extra time. Nigeria home fans are 100% behind the team. Both teams like to attack so I’m choosing over 2,75 and Nigeria Draw no bet for this game.

Both teams should be satisfied with so far performance. Colombia was very unlucky in semi final, when their player was sent off for goal keeping and referee also gave a penalty. After such knock down the end of the semi final was all but clear. Meanwhile Spain was ripped apart by hosts Nigeria, the missing of Muniesa was very important, his replacement couldn’t control Nigeria’s right winger. In today game I’m going for over 2,75 and Spain. Spain is more tactical and they have Borja, who is gunning for top scorer award. I think we will see him scoring.

This is a very interesting final, fist-timers Vs fourth win prospects. The Swiss may have beaten the big names, but ay the U-17 level, Nigeria is a bigger name. If the final had been in another country, I would agree that they have a chance. Playing a Nigerian team in a final is hard enough, playing the in Nigeria is an uphill task. Nigerian lads are more likely to carry the day due to their abilities to improve on each game and their understanding of the European style of football.

I would bet my house most of Nigerians are not under 17. it's common thing in Africa to have false documents, we had such examples in the past, just remember that Nigerian generation from 1994 WC. No wonder Nigeria already won this couple of times.
