Genoa-Siena

the game is on 8.11, genoa is also playing hard game today 5.11 europa leaegue at home with Lille. i was watching some games, and siena is not so bad, they are trying, but genoa is looking so tired.. Siena played very well with juventus (they loose 0:1), and also nice game with Lazio (draw)..

any opinions? i think X2 for Siena or draw could be..

Catania - Napoli :

Catania is a nice team, they are good in the attack, but their defense's less a good. Atzori here with no short list of missing players. Silvestre & Capuano are suspended, and likely also - Spolli, Martinez, Delvecchio, Campagnolo, Sciacca and Barrientos, are still absences for Atzori.

Napoli since the arrival of Mazzarri still unbeaten. Also here the main problem is the defense, we saw it again in the victory on Juve, but a second part headed's an the fantastic Hamsik, is very dangerous. In aspect of absent's players of Napoli, I don't have much to tell.

A Good possibility for the "Partenopei" to continue their momentum, despite the home crowd of Catania in Sicily.

Catania (3-5-2): Andujar; Potenza, Terlizzi, Bellusci; Carboni, Biagianti, Llama, Ledesma, Marchese; Mascara, Morimoto

Napoli (3-4-2-1): De Sanctis; Campagnaro, Cannavaro, Contini; Maggio, Cigarini, Gargano, Aronica; Hamsik, Lavezzi; Denis / Quagliarella

Napoli 0, -0.5 @ 1.950 bet365 1/10

Goal - both teams to score @ 1.800 bet365, low stakes

I think also Cagliari in Asian - 1 / 4 @ 2.090, at this price, at pinn, worth a try

And again, I still think that Inter is a less good team, than most of us are think

And again, doesn't bother to me if Mourinho with his the best lineup

I think certainly that Roma can surprise here

For me AS Roma in Asian +0.5/1 @ 2.149 at 188bet, also worth a try

both with a low stakes

I certainly don't agree with the Roma+0.5 bet, very simple, Mourinho still undefeated at home with Inter for quite a while now, and i don't think Roma can make a suprise, maybe a draw but not a win for As Roma, so IMO Inter 1X should be safe.

interesting thing is how,from last 4 matches on San Siro Inter was never able to win against Roma. Guests gathered 2 wins and 2 draws.

Now in present time
-inter is unbeaten for 28 matches at home,last time they've lost was against Juventus on March 2008 with 1:2.
-In last 4 away matches Roma has gathered only 2 points and another interesting thing regarding Roma this season is,that they have scored 10 out of 18 goals from set-pieces.

Only match between these two coaches,was last year,when Ranieri was still coach of Juve,Mou won 1 game,drew 1.
So much about stats and traditions.

Regarding the match on sunday,Mourinho will have full squad to choose from.
Ranieri won't be able to count on Juan,returns back Burdisso in center of defence and yet to determine the conditions of both keepers Doni & Julio Sergio,still not sure who'll start on the goal,Totti still out.
Vucinic was rested yesterday in europa league vs Fulham,so most probably he'll return to the starting line up.
I as rossonero,would like to see inter sliping again and dropp some points like in recent years but reality is different.
Believe would be smart to take Inter already now,before odds dropp even more as we're gonna approach to the kick off.

Coach of Fiora Prandelli will have some hell of problems in defence as he'll have to do w/o Gamberini and Frey along with suspended Dainelli instead of them will start Natali on his flank Kroldrup on goal Vlada Avramov who debutated in midweeks win over Debrecen.
Among the injured players there's also Adrian Mutu who'll have to be operated,Jovetic is also out,Zanetti C. questionable all in all he'll have to field out similar line up like against Catania where honestly,they struggled big time meaning Gilardino will be the only attacker behind him Santana,Marchionni and Vargas.

Udinese will have to do w/o Floro Flores meanwhile questionable are Lodi and Sanchez (who was rested in midweeks friendly match against low category team) at the same time coach Marino is considering to give a debut to 18 y old Jaime Gomez Romero.

For now expected line ups are;
Udinese (4-3-3): Handanovic; Basta, Zapata, Coda, Lukovic; Inler, D'Agostino, Asamoah; Sanchez, Di Natale, Pepe.

Fiorentina (4-2-3-1): Avramov; Comotto, Natali, Kroldrup, Gobbi; Montolivo, C,Zanetti; Marchionni, Santana, Vargas; Gilardino.

Knowing for the problems of team from Firenze and home team w/o any particular worries i'll take already now UDINESE DNB @1,73 for medium stakes bet 365

Atalanta:Juventus

some stats and traditions before team infos:

Last success of Atalanta against Juventus was 11 matches ago,on Ferbruary 2001.
From then on,9 victories of Juve and 2 draws.
Bergamaschi have in last 15 matches always conceded at least a goal per game vs them most frequent result between these two teams is 2:0.
Last 3 away matches in Bergamo juve scored in averrage 3 goals per match.
Atalanta is coming to this clash with 2 consecutive defeats where they haven't scored not a single goal.
This will be first meeting of two coaches that once played together in the shirt of Juventus,Ciro Ferrara and Antonio Conte.

Ciro will have to do w/o Amauri who's suspended,Iaquinta and Del Piero are also still out injured (Del Piero practiced but didn't join the partitella) b/c of the same reason,Ferrara will most likely field out an 4-2-3-1 with Trezeguet as only attacker,behind him Giovinco,Diego and Camoranesi. Probable confirmation of Caceres or right side of defence.

Atalanta will have some problems as Conte will have to do w/o Acquafresca,Ferreira Pinto,Manfredini,De Ascentis,Barreto,Garics and Bianco. Radovanovic not at his best conditions,his place will most probably be taken by Caserta in midfield.

Atalanta (4-4-2):

Consigli;
Padoin, Talamonti, Peluso, Bellini;
Ceravolo, Caserta, Guarente, Valdes;
Doni, Tiribocchi.

Juventus (4-2-3-1):

Buffon;
Caceres, Cannavaro, Chiellini, Grosso;
F. Melo, Poulsen;
Camoranesi, Diego, Giovinco;
Trezeguet.

Atalanta - Juventus

Juventus didn't show anything against Maccabi Haifa, Maccabi had even chances to draw, but that's Champions League match, now they are facing Atalanta away, we all know what happened last week against Napoli, 2-0 Half time and still lost 2-3 at the end. Atalanta is not doing so well this season, they are on the 18th place so far, they are struggling to find goals, only 9 out of 11 games. Last season they we're very good at home against Top teams off Italy, i remmeber them beating Inter and also more strong oppenents, but this year it looks different, they played a draw against Ac Milan at home, but that wasn't because of Atalanta, Ac Milan was just too bad in the beginning now they are coming back, If we look at the H2h, we see this :

09-05-17 Juventus Atalanta 2-2 Serie A
08-12-21 Atalanta Juventus 1-3 Serie A
08-04-20 Atalanta Juventus 0-4 Serie A
07-12-09 Juventus Atalanta 1-0 Serie A
05-01-30 Atalanta Juventus 1-2 Serie A

Pretty good stats for Juventus, they won the last 3 games away against Atalanta. Juventus lost their last game, now it is their duty to win against a poor side Atalanta..

Pick: Juventus
Odds: 1.85

Inter - Roma

Inter

No injury problems for Mourinho, who will most likely field the same starting XI as in the match in Kiev, with Sneijder behind Milito and Samuel Eto’o in attack.

Possible formation (4-3-1-2): Julio Cesar; Maicon, Lucio, Samuel, Chivu; Zanetti, Cambiasso, Stankovic; Sneijder; Eto’o, Milito.

Roma

There are some important absences for Roma. Captain Francesco Totti, defender Juan and goalkeeper Doni are all out injured. Rodrigo Taddei is suspended.

Possible formation (4-4-2): Julio Sergio; Cassetti, Mexes, Burdisso, Riise; Guberti, Pizarro, De Rossi, Perrotta; Menez, Vucinic.

Without Totti i expect a hard game for roma against a good side Inter, Sneijder in the starting elevin, i think he's one of the most important players on Inter's side. Mourinho with his Status ( undefeated at home).

Pick: Inter
Odds: 1.65

Correct score : (2-1) for fun.

Lazio - Milan

Lazio

Coach Ballardini has nearly a full squad to choose from, only Julio Cruz and Ousmane Dabo will not play,

Probable Starting XI (4-3-1-2): Muslera, Kolarov, Radu, Siviglia, Lichtsteiner; Mauri, Baronio, Brocchi; Matuzalem; Rocchi, Zarate

Milan

Coach Leonardo is still without Gennaro Gattuso, Seedorf is expected to play in this game.

Probable Starting XI – (4-3-1-2): Dida; Zambrotta, T.Silva, Nesta, Oddo; Seedorf, Pirlo, Ambrosini; Pato; Ronaldinho, Borriello

Milan seems back on track, and Lazio with their heavy defeat against a not in form Villarreal, we could see a away win for Milan here.

Pick: Milan
Odds: 2.15

May I add that Josι Mourinho hasn't lost a league home match since February 2002, an amazing run that goes back to his early times in Porto and is now beyond the 120 matches mark

I'm backing Inter on Sunday, at least on a (0) handicap if not more strongly as I will await the final lineups, I could become tempted by a (-1).

w/o explanation picks are annoying.

Roma's main problem is on the defence. They've tried Juan - Mexes no result. Juan - Burdisso no result. Also Roma needs a solid RB as Panucci who is playing for Parma now.
Riise will have huge problems against Inter's ''dinamo RB'' Maicon.

Finally Mourinho found a solution for the midfield.With Sneijder and Stankovic's form brought new offencive shape to Inter. Also those players linked well with strikers Eto'o and Milito.

After Lucio joined Inter,Inter defence lost some solidness. Chivu is able to make mistakes. (Udinese game - offside position)

As I see Roma w/o GK Doni.

Roma will not give up and they will use their offencive power. They cannot make defence against ''on-fire'' Inter.

I am expecting a goalfest.

Over 3.5 Goals

4-2 CS for fun.

I agree with on my friend Rossonero's tip.

Udinese DNB for me.

And I will try Over 2.5 there. Udinese is always an offencive team when they are at home. Viola have important missings as Frey and 3 regular defenders.

Also Udinese w/o Isla and Domizzi (both defenders)

Viola hungry for 3 pts.. Another defeat could bring a headache to Prandelli.

Home win and Over 2.5

GL

Atalanta v Juventus

The problem about backing the teams which are winless for a long time is to choose the right opponent that they can beat and break this chain after some time.

Juventus's win over M.Haifa was important for me regarding this game since even it is against a not very strong team, it is still a win in C.League and away from home.

This should give at least a bit confidence and Atalanta should be the right team to expect a Juventus win tonight.

Juventus @1.87 - 10Bet

I really dont see value for backing Juve tonight.Only Trezegue upfront is not some very good news for Juve and to add that Geovinco is also doubtful it will be hard for Juve to break defence.They will probably look for set pieces. If you compare games Atalanta-Juventus and Catania-Napoli i would rather back up Napoli.They have three or four very dangerous stikers and they also have high momentum they played fantasticly against Juve showing team spirit.

Bari have the best defense so far this league with only 7 goals conceded so far, and managed to hold Inter, Milan & Samp on a draw. Livorno didn't have a good start this season, even though they won 2 of the last 3 matches. This price is big value for me considering Bari's current form this season.

Lazio are in pretty bad shape this season especially after yesterday being hammered 4-1 by villarreal. Milan have recovered from their initial slump, winning 3 and drew 1 in the last 4 matches, plus taking 4 points against Real Madrid in the champions league.

Adrian Mutu is to undergo an operation after injuring knee ligaments during Wednesday's 5-2 UEFA Champions League home victory over Debreceni. Fiorentina did not say how long the 30-year-old Romanian striker would be sidelined, but Italian media speculated he will be absent for no more than a month. Mutu has four goals in 11 appearances in all competitions this season. Meanwhile, defender Alessandro Gamberini has been ruled out for three weeks with a thigh problem but goalkeeper Sebastien Frey and forward Stevan Jovetic are recovering from finger and toe injuries respectively.

agree that bet on Milan win is worth trying...Lazio in a very bad form,and Milan recent fomr is raising...with pacey strikers like Pato and Borriello,Lazio defense will sttrugle..very demoralised,and in additon he their morale,embarassing defeat against Villareal. Ballardini will be sacked soon...

Partial preview for Inter-Roma taken from 365tip:

A clash of these teams in Milan is always traditionally full of goals, with 3:3 being the score in their last clash played there. That was a bit controversial match where Roma led by 2:0, but in the second half Balotelli scored 2 out of 3 Inter’s goals and helped his team get a point. Inter is a huge favorite against Roma, who is still seeking their true identity, but just to be cautious my main bet here will be the over 2.5.

What do you think about Cagliari-Sampdoria ? Is there a value in AW or Samp playing bad recently ?

Genoa - Siena
2009-11-08 14:00:00
Italy

Odds: 2.05
Stake: 8 / 10
Pick: Over 1 in first half
Company: 188bet

Genoa picked up important win in Europa league against Lille. The game was tensed and only late strike from Sculli secured them win. Genoa has one of the best attacks in Seria A. They scored 18 goals in 11 games. But heir defense is very unstable; they let in a staggering amount of 20 goals. That is a worst record in Seria A Today they are playing against lowly Siena, who are lying in last place. Siena don‘t play that bad, but results are not going their way. I see an open game, where Siena might even take some goals. So I’m taking over 1 goal for the first half.

Udinese - Fiorentina :

Di Natale, if I didn't wrong, I think in four consecutive games without a goal. Day's with absences of Floro Flore & Sanchez - I think a good option for Di Natale to capture again here, at a reasonable price.

Prandelli will be forced to do without a several of key players. Gamberini, Dainelli, C.Zanetti, Jovetic & Mutu, absentees for Prandelli to the game.

Udinese (4-3-3): Handanovic; Basta, Zapata, Coda, Lukovic; Inler, D'Agostino, Asamoah; Pepe, Di Natale, Corradi

Fiorentina (4-2-3-1): Frey; Comotto, Natali, Kroldrup, Gobbi; Montolivo, Donadel; Marchionni, Santana, Vargas; Gilardino

Antonio Di Natale Anytime Goalscorer @ 2.100 bet365, low stakes

Inter - AS Roma :

Again, I think this season Inter didn't arrive to anywhere in Europe, perhaps for the Serie A this will be enough. Maybe now they present a better capability, nevertheless, I still don't trust on Inter.

This is correct, it's not a secret - Roma has not a little of problems in defence, but however, with the ability they are show lately, despite all the problems - I think they could surprise here.

Despite the absences of Juan, Burdisso, Taddei, Doni and l.t Totti - I don't see any value to take a team like Inter in a such price.

Inter (4-3-1-2): J. Cesar; Maicon, Samuel, Lucio, Zanetti; Motta, Cambiasso, Stankovic; Sneijder; Eto'o, Milito

Roma (4-4-2): Julio Sergio; Motta, Mιxes, Andreolli, Riise; Brighi, De Rossi, Pizarro; Perrotta; Menez, Vucinic

AS Roma +0.5/1 @ 2.315 188bet, low stakes

Agree with your take! With Eto'o, Milito and Balotelli on the bench, I don't give Roma a sniff of a chance of getting anything out of this game! However, the odds on an Inter win is low and therefore, I will have Inter-Inter HT/FT as my bet! Inter have been leading at half-time and winning all their home games for more than a month now and they are good value to do it again against a poor Roma side still without Totti! Roma also often trail the hosts at half-time on most of their travels. Roma could very well be finding themselves on the back foot early in the game at the San Siro!
